Dear Friends of Philadelphia Pathwork,
Pathwork is a rich and wonderful gift for all who experience it. The Board wishes to celebrate the unique way in which each of you contributes to the Pathwork and the life of the Philadelphia Region. Because of you, we are more financially sound than ever before. Because of you, the Region is strong and vibrant. Because of you, more hearts and minds have been reached with this beautiful work. And because of you, the life-affirming and life-giving nature of the Path is visible among us.
Let’s give thanks for these ongoing programs:
- The gift of free First Fridays and First Wednesdays Through the generosity of our Helpers, trained Pathwork graduate teachers, and our Helpership Trainees, we are able to offer lecture study to the community and to attract new students to Pathwork. Following the theme, “Journey through the Self,” First Friday is now offered at 6 locations and First Wednesday at 3!
- The continued bonus of First Friday follow-up workshops In a series of one-day workshops, offered for only $50, participants build on the teachings of the First Friday and First Wednesday programs. A beautiful gift from and to our region.
- Transformation Program (TP) The deep transformational work of the TP program is taking place in five different classes this year, with TP5 celebrating its graduation on CCC (Community, Commitment, Celebration) Day in June.
- The Helpership Training program Intensive training is offered to Pathwork graduate students who have chosen to deepen their commitment to Pathwork by taking the next step toward Helpership. Their graduation will be celebrated this year at CCC Day.
- Community Building Pathwork participants are enjoying each other’s company through activities such as the winter Solstice celebration, CCC Day, and Saturday evenings of music, meditation, and dining at St. Luke’s, and by volunteering at events such as Dinner at Joe’s (serving the hungry) and Thanksgiving at Manna (serving those with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other illnesses).
- Communication with Constant Contact Improved communication with participants is now possible through Constant Contact. Weekly quotes from the Guide Lectures will be sent to everyone with email, along with regular updates.
- Visioning With new teachers and new Helpers joining the Region, the Board and the Helpership Council are working together to create a vision for expansion that will maintain our integrity and provide a flexible structure for growth.
Your generosity will ensure that our Region is able to continue its current programming and activities, while expanding its offerings. We are excited about the expansion and growth our new teachers and Helpers are bringing to the Region. For the coming year our goal is $7,500 for dues, an average of $125 per member. In addition, we have budgeted for gifts and other revenue totaling $6,000.
Please discern what the right level of support is for you in helping to promote the work and vision of the Philadelphia Region for the 2011-2012 year. We are deeply grateful for the continuing gift of your support and for all it allows us to do.
Our objectives are:
