The Philadelphia Pathwork Summer Institute

The Summer Institute was founded for Pathworkers who share a passion for the Pathwork teachings and the deep growth and spiritual transformation they offer.

It offers the luxury of in-depth study led by master teachers on topics they are particularly passionate about.

Inspired by a need and desire to nourish our own practice in community, the programs are open to committed Pathworkers worldwide who want to continue the deepest exploration of these treasures we have been given for our soul's journey.

Pleasure: Building Trust and Faith in the Goodness of Life

with Madeline Dietrich Senior Pathwork Helper, Ottawa

The Pathwork Guide says it’s easier for humans to tolerate pain, than to acclimatize to deeper states of pleasure.  We have a lot to learn here, and if we’re ever collectively to evolve from our global obsession with pain and suffering—in the forms of war, inequities, and environmental degradation to mention a few—then we need to give as much attention to understanding the true nature and purpose of pleasure. In this retreat, we’ll utilize what the Guide calls the “healing balm of pleasure” to make the shift from child consciousness to expand into trust and faith in the goodness of life.

Who do you say i am?

A Pathwork inquiry into Jesus Christ/Christ Consciousness

with Renee Whatley Senior Pathwork Helper, Philadelphia

What does it mean to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? What does it mean to be imbued with Christ Consciousness? Is it the same or different? Join us as we bring to consciousness what we really think and feel toward this particular aspect of Spirit. We’ll create a gentle, supportive inquiry that probes and contemplates our early imprints, as well as religious and societal distortions. Using the Pathwork lens of healthy doubting, we will unlearn, relearn and strengthen beliefs, leaving this experience with a grounded personal knowing, as well as practices that provide guidance, inspiration, comfort and yes, even pleasure that support our daily lives.

Get to know Renee as she shares how she became involved in the Pathwork, some challenges she encountered and what she appreciates about this Path.
