Living the Path: More reflections on love

 It’s Donna here.

 I find these quotes from Lecture #240, Some Aspects in the Anatomy of Love, really enlarge my view of love:

 “Love Is a feeling …This feeling must result from an act of will motivated by intelligence. … To feel the emotion of love is not possible without the will moving toward being in a loving state. … If you do not wish to love, if you do not purposely express the desire to love (that is to fully understand), if you do not have the intention to love, you will not love.”

 In other lectures, the Guide speaks of three personality types – Power (will), Serenity (reason) and Love (emotion). No matter which personality type you may lean toward, if you wish to love, all three play a part in your loving, as the Guide also says in this lecture:

 "Emotion follows reason and will."
